Switch Off Fortnight
30 Nov 18
This term the Eco-Committee have carried out a survey to see where we could improve as a school. We decided to look at how we could improve the outside area of the school, biodiversity, nature and our energy usage.
Last week was the start of Switch Off Fortnight and the Eco-Committee looked around the school to see how energy was being used. Switch Off fortnight continues this week and we want everyone to think about how much energy they are using both at home and at school. Remember – turn those lights off!
Did you know that a microwave cooker uses more energy being left on standby than it does heating up food!
