Supply Cover Teacher of Music
Salary: from £25.25 to £32.67 per hour
Zero Hours Contract
Starting Date: March 2024

We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented, and motivated Teacher of Music to join us on an interim basis to teach across the range up to A-Level. We are looking for an individual who will be able to contribute to the academic life of the department to ensure that our pupils reach their full potential.

The School offers GCSE Music (Edexcel) and Music A Level (Eduqas). You will be teaching music from Year 7 through to Year 13.

The successful applicant will have a background in Music and a genuine passion for the subject and ideally experience of teaching Music in a school. We have a strong and dedicated staff body and excellent facilities, and you would be joining a warm and friendly working environment. You will be expected to contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life at the School.

Minibus Drivers – Various Routes
Salary: £11.37 per hour plus holiday pay
(equating to £13.24 p/h paid in 12 monthly instalments)
Rate to increase April 2024
Term time only (34 weeks per year), Permanent

We require enthusiastic and friendly Minibus Drivers to provide an early morning and late afternoon transport service to our pupils, as well as ensuring that the appropriate checks are carried out on the minibus prior to driving. You will be joining an already established, friendly and supportive team.

Morning Shift
The start times vary between 5.45am and 6.30am depending on the route, with all finishing at approximately 8:30am, depending on traffic.
Late Afternoon Shift
The afternoon shifts commences at 5.00pm for all minibus drivers Mon-Thu, and at 4.00pm on Fridays, where safety checks are undertaken. Finish times vary, dependant on routes and traffic, but will normally finish between 7.00pm-7.30pm.

Our drivers are welcome to stay after the morning shift for a complimentary breakfast served on site in the Dining Hall, when the Dining Hall is in operation. In addition, any shifts worked over lunch period are entitled to a lunch in the Dining Hall, when in operation.

We are seeking Drivers for various routes across Suffolk and North Essex. Ideally, we would like to recruit drivers for 5 days per week, morning and late afternoon shifts, which on average is 26 hours per week, term time only (34 weeks per year), with an annual salary of £11,710.47 per annum, including holiday pay. We are also seeking Casual Drivers to work with us on a zero-hour basis to provide cover for our Route and Shuttle Drivers.

However, for the right candidates, we may consider application for morning or afternoon shifts, part week working or job shares. Please indicate on your application, your availability for work, Monday to Friday, during school term times.

People Team Apprentice
Salary: £14,560 per annum
35 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new member of staff to join our People Team at the Seckford Foundation. As the People Team Apprentice, your role will be to provide comprehensive, accurate and confidential support to the People Team by effectively conducting its administrative duties and activities.

You will be the first point of contact for email, phone and face to face interactions in the People Team Office and support the smooth running of the People Team administrative function across the Seckford Foundation, which comprises of the Woodbridge Prep and Senior School and Seckford Care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic people person with strong organisation and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have an excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well as part of a team whilst also being trusted to complete tasks independently and accurately.

Volunteer Committee Members
The Seckford Foundation

The Seckford Foundation is one of Suffolk’s oldest charities, endowed by Thomas Seckford in 1587,  with the mission to promote the education of the young and the care of the elderly in and around Woodbridge.  The Foundation owns and operates two significant and long standing institutions in the town, Seckford Care and Woodbridge School.

The Foundation has circa 330 employees, over 800 beneficiaries and an annual turnover of £13 million.

The Foundation is controlled by a Board of Trustees, who delegate responsibility for the day-to-day activities to a series of committees comprising Trustees, specialist co-opted members and executives.

We are currently looking for an individual with EYFS experience to take up a position on the Education Committee.
