We are looking to appoint a Receptionist to provide professional support to the School.
Part time hours will be considered for experienced candidates. Please include in your application if you would like us to consider you for a part time role and indicate your availability. We will only be able to appoint part time staff, if we are able to find candidates that can cover the hours of work, between them in full.
You will provide an efficient and highly customer focused reception service for the School and Seckford Foundation, dealing with all callers, both on the telephone and in person, promptly and courteously. You will also provide support for the wider School Administration team.
This is a busy role, and you will need to work accurately under pressure and be able to cope with conflicting deadlines and interruptions. An understanding of the Independent School sector is desirable.

At different times throughout the School year, we require additional coaches to work with us; this may vary on a termly basis and can range from one to three afternoons per week.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Cleaners to join our well established and highly respected cleaning team. We have both morning and evening shift patterns available from 5.00am – 8.00am and from 4.00pm and 9.00pm, Monday – Friday. Some additional holiday and weekend cleaning hours may be available.
The successful candidates will be able to follow instructions to safely and effectively use chemicals and machinery to undertake the tasks required. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

We require an enthusiastic and friendly Minibus Driver for our Stoke By Nayland route to provide an early morning and late afternoon transport service to our pupils, as well as ensuring that the appropriate checks are carried out on the minibus prior to driving. You will be joining an already established, friendly and supportive team.
This role is offered on a contract of 23 hours and 30 minutes per week, Monday – Friday. The morning shift starts from 6:30am until 8:30am and the afternoon shift starts from 5:00pm – 7:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 4:00pm – 6:00pm on Fridays.
Our drivers are welcome to stay after the morning shift for a complimentary breakfast served on site in the Dining Hall, when the Dining Hall is in operation. In addition, any shifts worked over lunch period are entitled to a lunch in the Dining Hall, when in operation.
There may be opportunities for further hours during the school day to cover student trips etc.
Successful applicants will:
- Possess a category D, D1 licence, or PCV/CPC.
- Be able to demonstrate that they are a reliable, safe driver with a clean driving licence, ideally with appropriate driving experience.
- Be prepared to undergo a pre-employment health assessment.
- Be able to interact effectively with children and ensure their safety.
- Ideally have experience of working with young people.
(which equates to £13.63 per hour)

Morning Shift
The start times vary between 5.45am and 6.30am depending on the route, with all finishing at approximately 8:30am, depending on traffic.
Late Afternoon Shift
The afternoon shifts commences at 5.00pm for all minibus drivers Mon-Thu, and at 4.00pm on Fridays, where safety checks are undertaken. Finish times vary, dependant on routes and traffic, but will normally finish between 7.00pm-7.30pm.
