Reception Firefighters
12 Jan 17
Reception children were challenged this week when they discovered the shed in the playground was ‘on fire’. They were given a bowl of water, an assortment of containers, funnels and hoses (and of course some firefighter protective clothing) and were asked to put the fire out by sending the water down the hose. The children worked collaboratively trying and testing everybody’s ideas. They quickly discovered the best techniques to use and were delighted when the water appeared out of the other end of the hose. Well done Reception for excellent team work and perseverance!
