Many congratulations to all our mathematicians on another very impressive crop of results from this year’s IMC (for Years 9 to 11).
In particular, well done to best in school Emily Barker for her score of 108 (it is really unusual to ‘break the ton’) which entitles her to compete in the Maclaurin round for the top few candidates nationally. Close behind, also in Year 11, were William E, Abigail C, Jason L, Chloe N and Joseph B (gold certificates and qualification for the international Pink Kangaroo round), Michael D, Henry B, Year 10 Freeman L (best in year) (all golds), and Year 9 Brendan B whose brilliant 87 earned him gold, best in year and qualification for the national Cayley round for top young performers.
Earning silvers were: Year 11: Samuel N, Sze H-Y, William C, Vanessa W, Gabby Z, Kitty Norika C and Matthew B; Year 10: Ashlyn F, Cai W, James P, Matthew G, Tara H, Ella Hand Ollie B; Year 9: Oliver P, Alex E-L, Maud P, Jonathan K, Jenny C, Martha C, Oliver B, Amy K, Sarah B, Natasha D and Louis T.
Bronze certificates went to: Year 11: Alex D, Harrison P, Will M, Huang H; Year 10: Henry H, James E, Georgia H, Daniella E and Zara L; Year 9: Toby M, Guy S, Katie B, James Band Sophie D.
