Year 1 Colchester Zoo Trip

As part of their ‘Polar’ topic the Year One children enjoyed a day out at Colchester Zoo.  They took part in the Penguin Experience where they found out some fascinating facts about penguins and had the chance to watch these incredible animals being fed.  The children had a ride on the Madagascar Train, a chance to explore the rest of the zoo and the opportunity to meet Father Christmas!  The cold weather only added to their Polar experience!
