Woodbridge Junior Chess Open – Sunday 29 November 2015

78 children from all over East Anglia competed in the Woodbridge Junior Open on Sunday in the Sports dome, including a vast number from The Abbey and Woodbridge School. The event was a qualifier for the London Junior Chess Championships. There were Woodbridge School winners in all sections:
Rowan Kent: Woodbridge Under 8 Winner
Marina Pommier: Woodbridge Under 10 Winner
Thomas Liddy and Jake Cartwright: Woodbridge Under 12 joint winners
Toby Cassy: Woodbridge Under 14 Winner
Cavan Fawcett: Woodbridge Under 16 Winner
Hugo Kelleway: Woodbridge Under 18 Winner
