Science in Action for Year 11 Students
12 Nov 21
For Year 11 students studying separate sciences rather than combined, Dr Rickard has been sharing a number of lectures from some of the world’s top scientists, to inspire and challenge. The ultimate in science enrichment, during the month of November five interactive and highly engaging sessions are taking place, involving demonstrations as well as audience participation. Students are being given the opportunity to discover the wonders of science as well as receive advice and guidance on examination success. Sessions included are:
- Dangerous equations
- The future of food
- The science of swimming the English Channel
- Animal physics plumbs the depths: light and magnetism in the oceans
- Cracking the code – the genetics of superheroes
