Score: Won 18-11
The Woodbridge U14A Netball team played an exciting match against Ipswich School U14A team this Saturday. Woodbridge took the lead quickly with some beautiful centre court play by Chloe Outen and Flora Johnston. The shooters Katie Garnett and Maddie Felton moved nicely round the circle, creating space for each other. Eleanor Berridge and Mia King managed to keep the Ipswich shooters so they were facing into the sun. The score after the first quarter was 5-1 to Woodbridge. The Woodbridge girls then went on to shoot into the sun, but positioned themselves well to score another 7 goals. The Ipswich girls battled hard in the third quarter but thanks to some quick interceptions from Molly Biddle Woodbridge kept their lead. The final score was a win to Woodbridge 18-11. Well done girls, for a solid team performance! M Pilkington
