On Saturday 25 October our riders competed at the National Schools Equestrian Association 2014 Championships held in Buckinghamshire.

It was a great performance by all, in a strong field – all riders were immaculately turned out and very smart; their commitment, determination, concentration and general effort was outstanding. It’s often quite a challenge to be a member of such a team – the pressure can be immense.

They ended up 19th out of 24 in the country!

Rohan B finished on a score of 9 penalties and would have been placed 10th if she’d been an individual – quite something with 120 starters! Fantastic achievement on a 6 year old horse – what a future ahead they have!!

Sophia O did so well to get to near the end of a long course. Without her we wouldn’t have even qualified! Considering she’s at boarding school now and away from her pony she did well to ride at the champs.

Georgie W was amazing – having only ridden Mossy twice before and then jumping course of 17 fences at 95cm at such a huge event!! Huge thanks to James B for lending Mossy.

Bella R rode a beautiful round, also gaining only 9 style penalties but had 3 time penalties, so a score of 12. A great achievement though, individually she would have been 15th!! Thank you for stepping in to represent the school.
