‘Life of a Spy’ by James H

I decided to start writing a play over Easter but I never thought that I would get to actually perform it!
Mrs Brett was very kind to say that she’d direct it.
We started by asking year 5`s to volunteer if they would like to be in it and I was surprised when lots of people turned up to the first rehearsal .
Every week I looked forward to the rehearsals and we had so much fun. Near the time of the show we got in some extra rehearsals and practised on the Sunday before the show.
All the cast learnt lots from Mrs Brett.
Everybody was nervous before the show but we were also very excited.
I hoped the audience enjoyed it, we certainly loved performing it . It was a great experience and thank you to Mrs Brett for giving up her time to direct it!
