Shakespeare on the Lawn: The Two Gentlemen of Verona

This year’s Shakespeare on the Lawn takes place on Tuesday 2 July and Wednesday 3 July 2024. Year 9 students from Woodbridge School will be performing The Two Gentlemen of Verona on our very own Chapel lawn.
The Two Gentlemen of Verona is one of Shakespeare’s earliest plays and also one of the most rarely performed. The play deals with the themes of friendship and infidelity, the conflict between friendship and love, and the foolish behaviour of people in love. Let our Year 9’s transport you to 1960s Italy for an evening to remember.
