We are seeking a dedicated, highly organised, enthusiastic and friendly Admissions Events and Alumni Engagement Officer to promote, develop and manage a successful programme of admissions events to drive whole school student recruitment through initial enquiry to conversion and induction into Woodbridge School, and to build and maintain strong relationships between Woodbridge School and its alumni community, ensuring former pupils remain connected and engaged after leaving the school.
This is a varied role suited to someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, good relationship building skills and a proactive, team-focused approach. The successful candidate will help ensure prospective families receive an outstanding admissions experience and deliver work that keeps our Old Woodbridgian community connected.

We require an enthusiastic and friendly Minibus Driver for our Colchester route to provide a safe and reliable transport service for our pupils. Working as part of our established and supportive Transport Team, you will be responsible for driving pupils to and from School, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout each journey, and carrying out the appropriate
daily vehicle checks prior to driving.
This role is ideal for a reliable and conscientious individual who enjoys working with young people and takes pride in providing excellent customer service to pupils and families. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and punctuality, while contributing positively to the wider School community.
This position is offered on a contract of 14 hours per week, working Monday and Tuesday from 5:55am to 8:30am and 5:00pm to 7:35pm, and Wednesday from 5:55am to 8:30am. The salary for this role is £6,997.23 per annum.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team at the Senior School. Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth preparation and delivery of high-quality food service to pupils, staff, and visitors. Reporting to and working under the direction of the Chefs, you will assist with a range of general kitchen duties, contributing to an efficient, clean, and welcoming catering environment.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in food preparation and a proactive approach to teamwork, with the ability to adapt to the demands of a busy kitchen. While previous experience in a catering or customer-facing role and familiarity with kitchen equipment would be beneficial, it is not essential, as full training can be provided. What is most important is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, helping to ensure an excellent standard of service and a positive dining experience for all.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to over a period of maternity leave within the team. Your expected working pattern will be 24 hours per week over 4 days with variable shift patterns (2 x 9:00am to 3:00pm or 10:00am to 4:00pm and 2 x 12:30pm to 6:30pm 1 weekend in 4).

Zero Hours – Monday to Friday
We require enthusiastic and friendly Casual Minibus Drivers to provide an early morning and late afternoon transport service to our pupils, as well as ensuring that the appropriate checks are carried out on the minibus prior to driving. You will be joining an already established, friendly and supportive team.
This role is offered on a casual zero-hour basis.
Our drivers are welcome to stay after the morning shift for a complimentary breakfast served on site in the Dining Hall, when the Dining Hall is in operation. In addition, any shifts worked over lunch period are entitled to a lunch in the Dining Hall, when in operation.
There may be opportunities for further hours during the school day to cover student trips and/or sports fixtures etc.

At different times throughout the School year, we require additional coaches to work with us; this may vary on a termly basis and can range from one to three afternoons per week.

The appropriate candidate will have extensive experience in coaching/playing, as well as of working in schools or similar environments. The sports on offer at Woodbridge School include: Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Dance, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rugby.
Duties are likely to include coaching within games lessons, co-curricular practices and matches, and this would primarily be afternoons from 1.00pm to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday, term time only. Please check here for our term dates.
