An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new member of the staff to join the existing small IT team in providing application and system support for a diverse academic and non-academic organisation. At the very centre of the Woodbridge School campus is the school’s coeducational boarding house, School House, a true home from home for its thriving community of 55 weekly and full boarders. It will be the Head of Boarding’s privilege to hold overall responsibility for the daily life and running of School House, sitting on the whole school management team, working closely with the Deputy Head Pastoral and reporting directly to the Head. Crucially, as well as continuing to safeguard a culture of pastoral excellence in the house itself, the Head of Boarding will play a seminal role in accelerating and further establishing the boarding programme at Woodbridge, through effective sales and marketing, the development of external relations, the recruitment of new students and staff, and by presenting and pitching to prospective parents, pupils and partners internationally. In these efforts, they will work in close collaboration with the Director of Marketing, Admissions & Communications and the International Boarding Recruitment Manager, as well as providing boarding-related strategic input as a member of the school’s senior team.
