Minibus Driver – Manningtree
Salary: £12,956.22 per annum
26 hours and 50 minutes per week
Term time only (34 weeks per year), Permanent

We require an enthusiastic and friendly Minibus Driver for our Manningtree route to provide an early morning and late afternoon transport service to our pupils, as well as ensuring that the appropriate checks are carried out on the minibus prior to driving. You will be joining an already established, friendly and supportive team.

This role is offered on a contract of 26 hours and 50 minutes per week, Monday – Friday. The morning shift starts from 5:55am until 8:30am and the afternoon shift starts from 5:00pm – 7:35pm Monday to Thursday, and 4:00pm – 6:35pm on Fridays.

Our drivers are welcome to stay after the morning shift for a complimentary breakfast served on site in the Dining Hall, when the Dining Hall is in operation. In addition, any shifts worked over lunch period are entitled to a lunch in the Dining Hall, when in operation.

There may be opportunities for further hours during the school day to cover student trips etc.

Successful applicants will:

  • Possess a category D, D1 licence, or PCV/CPC.
  • Be able to demonstrate that they are a reliable, safe driver with a clean driving licence, ideally with appropriate driving experience.
  • Be prepared to undergo a pre-employment health assessment.
  • Be able to interact effectively with children and ensure their safety.
  • Ideally have experience of working with young people.

Cleaner (Part-Time)
Salary: £12,718.65 per annum

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Cleaner to join our well established and highly respected cleaning team.

Monday to Friday – 4:00pm to 9:00pm. 25 hours per week. 36 weeks per year.

The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions to safely and effectively use chemicals and machinery to undertake the tasks required. Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Science Laboratory Technicians (Full or Part Time)
2 Vacancies – Full or Part Time (Salary paid pro-rata) Term Time Role – 35 weeks per year (34 weeks plus 1 week)
Salary: £24,246.71 per annum FTE
Actual Salary for 36.25 HPW: £18,069.72 per annum

We have an excellent opportunity for two enthusiastic and motivated Science Laboratory Technicians to join our friendly and successful Science Department. One technician will primarily support the Physics Department, and the other the Biology Department, while also collaborating with the wider science team.

As a Science Laboratory Technician, your role will involve preparing, setting up, and maintaining laboratory equipment and materials to support effective science lessons. You will assist teaching staff during practical sessions, ensuring experiments run smoothly and safely. In addition, you will provide technical advice and support to both staff and students, helping to enhance the learning experience. Maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked laboratories will be a key part of your duties, along with managing the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological materials. A crucial aspect of the role is staying up to date with CLEAPSS guidance and Health and Safety regulations to ensure all practices meet current standards.

We are seeking candidates with a strong science background, ideally holding a minimum of an A-level qualification in a relevant subject. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills, along with a proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to their work. A solid understanding of CLEAPSS and current Health and Safety guidelines is essential to ensure safe and compliant laboratory practices.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time (Term Time) hours: 08:15 – 16:30, Monday to Friday
  • Break: 1-hour unpaid break daily

Data Manager
Salary: Up to £32,000 FTE
Up to actual Salary of £27,429 per annum based on 0.86 FTE
30 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

We are seeking to appoint a Data Manager to lead the development and management of data systems across Woodbridge School and Seckford Care.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in shaping how data is used to support strategic decision-making across the Seckford Foundation. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing our Management Information System (iSAMS), ensuring data quality and compliance, and delivering insightful reporting and analysis to a range of stakeholders. Your work will directly support the operational and academic success of the Foundation.

This is a high-impact role for a proactive and technically skilled individual who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, and who is passionate about using data to drive improvement and innovation.

This role is primarily based on-site; however, we offer flexibility to work from home on occasion. Remote work arrangements can be made in agreement with your line manager and in alignment with business needs.

Due to the nature of the role and the needs of the business annual leave will need to be taken outside of protected times. These are specific times during the year, such as peak operational periods, when staff availability is essential to ensure business continuity.

Sports Coach

At different times throughout the School year, we require additional coaches to work with us; this may vary on a termly basis and can range from one to three afternoons per week.

We are looking for inspirational coaches across a variety of sports to support our excellent games provision and our students at Woodbridge School.

We are seeking talented, flexible individuals who are committed to providing the best opportunities for students across a range of abilities. To engage with students and staff, contributing towards creating a vibrant, fulfilling environment that provides appropriate levels of challenge.

The appropriate candidate will have extensive experience in coaching/playing, as well as of working in schools or similar environments. The sports on offer at Woodbridge School include: Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Dance, Football, Hockey, Netball, Rugby.

Duties are likely to include coaching within games lessons, co-curricular practices and matches, and this would primarily be afternoons from 1.00pm to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday, term time only. Please check here for our term dates.
