Abbey Pupils Enjoy Success at Suffolk Chess Megafinal

Congratulations to all those Abbey students who took part in the Suffolk Megafinal last weekend at the senior school. All those from the Abbey won a prize and qualified for the National Gigafinals, which take place in Manchester in July.

Rowan Kent won the Under 8 section with 6/6. Theo Pommier came second with 5/6.
Georgia Pommier won the Under 9 section with 5/6.
Marina Pommier won the Girls Under 10 section with 5/6. Fred Bartlett-Smith scored 4/6.

Arthur Green, George Na Nakhorn and Felix Juszt all scored 4/6 in the Under 11 section.
