Connie’s Grandad visited Queen’s House to talk to the Reception children about being a Fireman. The children were very interested to learn all about the dangers of fire, what to do if there is a fire and most importantly how they can take precautions against fires starting in the first place. After dressing up their teacher in a Fireman’s outfit the children were keen to try on Connie’s Grandads helmet.

The Reception children celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite Book character. Captain Hook’s pirates had told the children that they had lost their treasure. The children then took part in a treasure hunt in the Queen’s House garden and thankfully all the coins were found!
