Working Pattern
This is an annualised hours role, with working time planned across the year in line with business need. Hours will be higher during peak periods, such as the production of The Old Woodbridgian and alumni events, and lower during quieter periods, with working patterns agreed in advance wherever possible through the annual events calendar.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Administrator to join the IT Services team at Woodbridge School, part of the Seckford Foundation. Reporting to the Head of IT Services, this role will play a key part in supporting both the school and associated care home by ensuring the effective management, integrity, and security of data systems across the organisation.
Working within a collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will contribute to the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the Foundation’s data services.
The role will involve day-to-day use and administration of the School’s Management Information System (MIS), currently iSAMS, alongside other data platforms. Responsibilities will include managing user access for staff, pupils, and parents, maintaining accurate records, supporting statutory reporting requirements, and assisting with assessment and data analysis processes, while ensuring high standards of data quality and GDPR compliance. The post holder will also support the wider IT Services team by resolving escalated data-related issues, documenting processes, improving efficiency, and maintaining secure data handling practices, including audits and Subject Access Requests.

The Seckford Foundation is a charity which supports schools in the Woodbridge area as well as other sites in Suffolk.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team at the Senior School. Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth preparation and delivery of high-quality food service to pupils, staff, and visitors. Reporting to and working under the direction of the Chefs, you will assist with a range of general kitchen duties, contributing to an efficient, clean, and welcoming catering environment.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in food preparation and a proactive approach to teamwork, with the ability to adapt to the demands of a busy kitchen. While previous experience in a catering or customer-facing role and familiarity with kitchen equipment would be beneficial, it is not essential, as full training can be provided. What is most important is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, helping to ensure an excellent standard of service and a positive dining experience for all.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to over a period of maternity leave within the team. Your expected working pattern will be 24 hours per week over 4 days with variable shift patterns (2 x 9:00am to 3:00pm or 10:00am to 4:00pm and 2 x 12:30pm to 6:30pm 1 weekend in 4).

We require an enthusiastic and friendly Chef to join our busy Catering Team at Woodbridge School to cover a period of maternity from 1 September 2026 to 25 March 2027.
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Chef to join the Catering Team at Woodbridge School, supporting the delivery of high-quality meals for our pupils and staff. This will be to cover a period of maternity from 1 September 2026 to 25 March 2027. This key role involves working in a fast-paced school kitchen environment, contributing to the planning and preparation of nutritious menus, and helping to maintain excellent food standards and safety practices. The successful candidate will bring experience from a catering or kitchen setting, hold relevant qualifications—including Food Safety Level 2—and demonstrate a commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience within our vibrant school community.
You will be required to work a total of 37.5 hours per week with variable shift patterns. An example shift pattern could be 7:00am to 3:00pm or 10:30am to 6:30pm. You will also be required to work 1 weekend in 4 (9:30am to 6:30pm).
Experience of working in a kitchen or catering setting is essential for this role. A relevant catering qualification and a certificate in Food Safety Level 2 is also essential. You will be responsible for running a section of the kitchen and delivering a high-quality food provision to our residents. Reporting to the Head Chef for Woodbridge School.

Zero Hours – Monday to Friday
We require enthusiastic and friendly Casual Minibus Drivers to provide an early morning and late afternoon transport service to our pupils, as well as ensuring that the appropriate checks are carried out on the minibus prior to driving. You will be joining an already established, friendly and supportive team.
This role is offered on a casual zero-hour basis.
Our drivers are welcome to stay after the morning shift for a complimentary breakfast served on site in the Dining Hall, when the Dining Hall is in operation. In addition, any shifts worked over lunch period are entitled to a lunch in the Dining Hall, when in operation.
There may be opportunities for further hours during the school day to cover student trips and/or sports fixtures etc.
Successful applicants will:
- Possess a category D, D1 licence, or PCV/CPC.
- Be able to demonstrate that they are a reliable, safe driver with a clean driving licence, ideally with appropriate driving experience.
- Be prepared to undergo a pre-employment health assessment.
- Be able to interact effectively with children and ensure their safety.
- Ideally have experience of working with young people.
