Woodbridge Wins Against Langley 4-0
19 Nov 21
Woodbridge U14s travelled to Harleston Magpies for their game against Langley this week, with some amusing stops along the way, arriving not really knowing what to expect. The game started with a fantastic tempo, and we really should have scored a number of times, but the Langley goalie was amazing, keeping her team in the game. We later discovered to our surprise, that this was her first time in goal – she looked like an international! Lara (Y9) broke the deadlock with a penalty corner strike taking us into half time with a goal advantage. A quick pep talk and drink seemed to wake and shake us all up and the goals then came from Lara (Y9), Rose (Y9), Nancy (Y9) and Georgia P (Y9); 4-0 by the end of the game, well done Woodbridge!
