24 Mar 23

The netball season is almost at an end, but there have been some wonderful fixtures over the past few weeks. Read about our U12, U13, U14, U15 and Senior team matches in our reports below.

Woodbridge U13 and U12 team matches
The U13A team have had an incredible season, culminating in being top of the Suffolk league. The U13B look likely to finish runners up in the same league, while the U13C team finished their season with an impressive win at Orwell Park. This just goes to show how much sporting depth and talent there is in this Year group. Their improvement and dedication has been a joy for all the coaches.

The U12s season is not yet over, with the league tournaments having been postponed until next week. An update will be shared soon.

U13A and B Teams

Woodbridge U14 and U15 team matches
The U15A team have also had a fantastic season and their winning streak continued with a convincing win against St Joseph’s College. They too have ended top of their Suffolk league. Not to be over-shadowed the U15B team have been unbeaten this season and have also topped the B league tables. Well done to all the girls, they have been a pleasure to work with and have been wonderful ambassadors for the School.

The U14A team has had a fantastic couple of weeks with two great performances against both Farlingaye and RHS. Their last match of the season is against St Josephs, which will decide if they top the league table – so they have everything to play for. Good luck, girls!

The U14B have had a tougher season but they have improved so much as the season continued and demonstrated amazing team spirit.

U14A Team

Woodbridge Seniors matches
The U16A have been extraordinary this season and finish unbeaten in both league and friendlies. They have been an awesome team with strengths being shown in all areas of the court and the girls can play in any position asked of them. They have scored 255 goals with 91 against which is an amazing goal difference of 164, and have all been a delight to work with as well as an inspiration to the younger years.

The 1st team have finished with a flourish and were happy to end the season with a strong win against St Jos. For some of the Year 13s this will have been their last time representing the School in any sport and we would like to thank them for everything they have given to sport over the years.
