Hockey: Woodbridge Girls Under 14 A Team v Felsted

The U14A girl’s hockey team came up against stiff opposition away to Felsted. Two players had already helped the U15B team to a 5-0 win as numbers were short. Despite excellent play from Zara L in defence we struggled to keep the Felsted team out of our defending half. Goal Keeper Sophie L had to leave the pitch with a bad back just before half time and special mention must go to Eleanor B who stepped into the kit for her maiden experience of goal keeping. Issy C came over as quick as she could from the other match to help out, with the second half better and a good goal scored from Maddie F on the right post. Tighter marking in our defending third and more accurate passing areas to work on.
