Hockey: U14B vs Framlingham College
For the last match of the season, this was by far the most exciting game!! A real team effort with every single member of the team playing with enormous amounts of determination and drive. Louise Farthing had a storming game as sweeper and was 100% successful in her tackles, and Millie Cave, Simone Webb and Florence Appell defended excellently and applied the pressure on the opposition’s attacking players. Ella Sambrook, Lucy Appell, and Ella Holliday’s positioning in our attacking D, ensured we had chances, which unfortunately we could not convert.
Maddy Hall and Anya Trevor-Pallares supported on the wings, where Jemima Hill and Rosa McInerney fought for absolutely everything and tackled hard. Eliza Kilburn yet again made perfect drives up the right wing and made effective passes to the forwards. Thank you also to Sophie Little and Issy Cory who both made some great saves in goal. Even though it was a draw, the girls felt like they had won and were so excited about their performance. The whole team have made enormous amounts of progress and have worked so hard this season. It had been a real pleasure to teach them!! Well done girls!!
