Young Musicians of the Year 2026

We are delighted to announce that our Young Musicians of the Year Competition, now in its second year, will take place in School Hall on Tuesday 23 June at 7.00pm and all are most welcome.

This special evening offers a platform for talented young musicians from across the School to demonstrate their technical proficiency and performance skills; the exceptionally high standard of this year’s finalists is a true reflection of the remarkable musical ability within our community.

Finalists will each perform a single piece before a panel of distinguished local adjudicators, following a professional workshop earlier in the day. Students will be judged in three categories – Grades 1–4, Grades 5–6, and Grades 7+ – with medals awarded for 1st and 2nd place in each class, alongside cups for Best Senior Musician and Best Junior Musician. We warmly invite you to join us for what promises to be an inspiring celebration of our students’ outstanding musical talent.
