Our Equestrian team had a very successful outing to the NSEA County Show Jumping Qualifier at Forest Edge in Norfolk last weekend.  Riders included Year 11’s Zac, Year 10’s Grace, Year 9’s Kirsty, Year 8’s Tati and Daisy; Year 4’s Olivia and Year 2’s Emily joined the Senior School teams for the first time.

It was an early and cold start for Olivia and Emily for the 40cm and 50cm classes.  Emily finished an excellent 5th in the 40cm class and although not Olivia’s day, she rode brilliantly in both classes.

Our 70-75cm team of Tati, Daisy and Kirsty all jumped good and consistent rounds to finish as a team in 2nd place, qualifying for the Inter County Championships at Hickstead in May 2026.

Next the 80-85cm team of Grace, Daisy, Tati and Kirsty won the class to qualify as County Champions and Kirsty also qualifying as an individual for finishing 3rd individually.

Grace and Zac also completed excellent rounds as individuals in the 90-95cm and Zac also in the 1m.

With our team trainer, Jake being away on a much deserved holiday, it was up to the riders to make the decisions on the lines to ride and the speed to complete the timed sections.  All rode brilliantly producing competitive and accurate rounds.  Well done to all of our riders!
