Woodbridge School Touch Rugby team triumphed in their first ever match this week, making a memorable debut against Orwell Park School, securing a thrilling 4–3 victory in an exciting and hard-fought match.
The mixed Year 7 and 8 side, consisting of Bronte, Joe, James, Stefan, Tilly, Hollie, Robin, and Arthur, showed teamwork, energy, and determination throughout, taking on an all-boys team.

From the first whistle, Woodbridge played with confidence and enthusiasm. Their speed in defence kept the opposition at bay, with Tilly, Joe, Robin, and Stefan leading the charge with aggressive running in defence that consistently put Orwell Park on the back foot.
In attack, Bronte, who was deservedly voted Player of the Match, was exceptional, controlling every breakdown and distributing the ball superbly. James, Joe, Hollie and Arthur dazzled with mazy runs, beating defenders and creating scoring opportunities that helped secure the win.
Every player gave their all, showing teamwork, resilience, and pride in representing Woodbridge School.
