It is a given that in joining Woodbridge Sixth Form, you will be looking to achieve outstanding academic results, and to be able to compete for a top university place or a placement with a blue chip company.

Our results are excellent and the vast majority of Sixth Form pupils continue from Woodbridge to University education both in the UK and beyond.

The variety of leavers’ university destinations reflects the wide interests and talents of the Sixth Form.

The largest group of leavers is destined for Russell Group universities including Oxford, Durham, Warwick and Exeter. The London universities are also popular, with UCL, King’s and Imperial being popular choices. STEM subjects are particularly popular university choices amongst Woodbridge’s leavers, reflecting the strength of STEM teaching at the School.  Creative subjects are also very well represented. With careers and university advice and seemingly limitless information on GAP years, the higher education evening held in January for Year 12 whets the appetite for life beyond School.

An overview of the latest results and leavers’ destinations can be found on the academic page of this Sixth Form section. A more detailed breakdown is available upon request.

Life for students embarking on their next stage of academic life is busy. We expect students to immerse themselves  in their academic studies by becoming autonomous, independent learners. The academic environment of Woodbridge is rigorous and you will need to work hard and push yourself to achieve the best results.
