The Sixth Form Community
We recognise that for most students, however much you will look to study in a place that offers top academic results and exciting extra-curricular activities, one of the most important aspect of school life will be the friends you make and the social life you lead.
We certainly would not want to see anyone just spending their Sixth Form years immersed in books and nothing else, no matter how important A level results are.
Woodbridge has community built into its brickwork and the warmth and strength of the Woodbridge community is often cited as one of the key reasons pupils choose the School, and the reason it is such a happy place. Nowhere is this more evident in than in the Sixth Form, where the Upper and Lower Sixth are highly integrated.
Students and staff work together to organise fantastic events such as the Sixth Form Revue; a chance to experience your fellow students’ talents be they rapping, stand-up comedy or playing in a band. Towards the end of the year, the Leavers’ Ball is the highlight of the Sixth Form calendar, with the Sports Dome decked out in themed finery and the chance for everyone to raise a toast to new beginnings!
