Success for Woodbridge at the NSEA Championships, Addington 2026
Our Equestrian team had a brilliant few days of competition at NSEA Addington Manor Championships over half term, competing as a team and individually. With plenty of achievements to celebrate, well done to all of our riders including: Year 5’s Olivia, Year 9’s Daisy and Tati, Year 10’s Kirsty, Year 11’s Grace and Year 12’s Edie and Zac.
In the 80 – 85cm Jumping with Style, Daisy, Edie, Grace and Tati put in some great performances to finish in 7th place, while in the 70 – 75cm Showjumping Championships, Daisy and Olivia both produced lovely clear rounds. Well done girls!
Our 80 – 85cm Showjumping Championship team of Tati, Edie, Kirsty and Daisy rode some fantastic rounds to qualify for the evening jump-off, going on to secure a brilliant 5th place finish. And in the 90 – 95cm Jumping with Style, Zac, Grace, Edie and Tati put in another great team performance to finish 5th place. A special mention to Zac, who jumped a fantastic clear round and went on to finish 8th individually in the 1m – 1.05m Jumping with Style class, which is an absolutely brilliant achievement!
Our 90 – 95cm Showjumping Championship team of Kirsty, Zac, Grace and Edie jumped fantastic rounds to qualify for the jump-off, finishing a brilliant 5th place overall. Zac also produced a fantastic clear round in the 1m – 1.05m Showjumping Championships, well done Zac.
As the youngest member of our team, Olivia attended her very first Championship Show and what a debut she had! She jumped clear in all three full-up 70 – 75cm Championship classes; an absolutely fantastic achievement and one to be very proud of.
Overall, we have had a really fantastic show. It has been wonderful to see new combinations stepping up to tackle some technical tracks, with all our teams riding brilliantly and showing such determination, confidence and team spirit. We are incredibly proud of you all, well done, Woodbridge Equestrian team!
A huge well done to every rider, and a big thank you to all the parents, supporters and helpers who make it possible.
We would also like to thank the NSEA for running such fun, educational and well organised shows, it’s a privilege to attend and represent our School.
