Last week, Sixth Form Drama students had the pleasure of taking part in a workshop run by the amazing Frantic Assembly. Sharing her thoughts and experience of the day, read our report from Year 13’s Georgia.

“Our external facilitator Steve instantly created an energetic yet comforting atmosphere for us to embrace. He provided us with various physical activities that would influence our practical pieces that we are soon to embark on.
One of my favourites was ‘family portrait’ in which a group of us would create a sequence of six images around a row of chairs, each position capturing a different freeze frame. This fast-paced exercise reduced overthinking and made some excellent stories within the pictures.
Overall, this workshop pushed our imagination skills and encouraged us to adapt to new challenges quickly.
Thank you to the Drama department for this wonderful opportunity and we cannot wait for more to come. “
