Meet Selena
Selena joined Woodbridge School in Year 10, and is now studying A level Art, Design and Maths.
One of the best parts about boarding at Woodbridge is the community; not only do I get to spend time with friends before and after School, but my teachers are wonderful, always there to listen, offer guidance and support – that’s the reason I chose Woodbridge over all other schools.
Not only can I get the support I need academically, but the staff care about and look after my well-being; no matter what is going on in my life or my head, there is always someone I can spend time with chatting, helping me to organise myself and my thoughts – the teachers and staff are part of our family, they make boarding life feel just like home.
After a whole week of School, on a Friday night everyone comes together in the common room where we listen to music, dance, talk and just spend time together – it’s my favourite part of the week and one of my favourite things about boarding. There is always something to do and someone to do it with!
I’m taking Art, Design and Maths A levels, looking specifically at the technical technique of modelling and illustration, as I really want to go on to study architecture at university.
