Meet Phoebe
Phoebe joined Woodbridge School in Year 10, going on to become a boarder in Year 12.
As a family we moved house to Oxfordshire, and so I decided to become a boarder. I’d been a student at Woodbridge School since Year 10, and so it was a very easy decision and transition; I knew what a great time I would have and how much more focused I could be on my studies – as well as the support I’d continue to receive.
I’m studying A level History, English Literature and Fine Art, and hope to go into the field of Law, looking ahead to a degree in English with a potential Law conversion.
It’s great living with my friends and having them in the same house every day! There’s always so much to do together, and School offers so many different clubs and sports you can take part in. We also love walking into Woodbridge town, there are lots of lovely shops here and places to stop for something to eat or drink.
My favourite memory of boarding so far has got to be all of the different activities that the whole house participates in. From after School quizzes, dodgeball and treasure hunts to cooking together or just watching a movie, there is always something to do.
It really is a privilege to board at Woodbridge. As well as all the activities you can take part in and the places you can visit, the support you have access to in terms of teachers and fellow students is second to none. It’s a definite advantage living in the School grounds, everything is quite literally on your doorstep!
