We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to join our Catering Team at the Senior School. Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring the smooth preparation and delivery of high-quality food service to pupils, staff, and visitors. Reporting to and working under the direction of the Chefs, you will assist with a range of general kitchen duties, contributing to an efficient, clean, and welcoming catering environment.
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in food preparation and a proactive approach to teamwork, with the ability to adapt to the demands of a busy kitchen. While previous experience in a catering or customer-facing role and familiarity with kitchen equipment would be beneficial, it is not essential, as full training can be provided. What is most important is a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, helping to ensure an excellent standard of service and a positive dining experience for all.
This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to over a period of maternity leave within the team. Your expected working pattern will be 24 hours per week over 4 days with variable shift patterns (2 x 9:00am to 3:00pm or 10:00am to 4:00pm and 2 x 12:30pm to 6:30pm 1 weekend in 4).

We require an passionate and skilled Senior Theatre Technician to join our Theatre Team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth and professional delivery of productions, events, and theatre operations at Woodbridge School.
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised individual to lead the technical operation of the Seckford Theatre, working closely with the Theatre Manager to support all theatre activities, including external hires, school productions, and events. The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of technical theatre, including lighting, sound, staging, and audio-visual equipment, while ensuring a safe and efficient environment that meets all health and safety standards.
The successful candidate will manage and maintain technical infrastructure, oversee equipment and consumables, lead theatre upgrades, and support school productions through set, prop, and technical work, as well as delivering an engaging Stage Crew programme for students.
As Duty Manager for events, the post holder will be responsible for the safety of the theatre building, equipment, staff, and visitors, ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures. This includes liaising with external hirers and event organisers, briefing front-of house teams, preparing pre-show technical documentation, and completing post-event reports, helping to ensure an outstanding experience for all theatre users, audiences, and participants.

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised individual to work closely with the Theatre Manager to ensure the safe and efficient running of all theatre activity. This key role includes acting as Duty Manager for external hires and school events, taking responsibility for the safety of the building, staff, and visitors, ensuring health and safety procedures are followed, and coordinating front-of-house teams. The successful candidate will liaise with external hirers and staff, support event delivery, and complete post-event reporting.
Alongside duty management responsibilities, the role involves supporting school productions as a Production Assistant. This includes researching, sourcing, and maintaining costumes and props, assisting with set building and preparation, and occasionally supporting lighting and sound for productions across the Seckford Theatre and Woodbridge Prep. The role also includes maintaining organised and well-managed storage areas for props and costumes.
In addition, the position includes administrative and marketing duties, such as supporting communications with external hirers, managing social media and mailing lists, contributing to marketing materials and campaigns, and assisting with the Theatre’s “What’s On” programme, website updates, and box office administration. The successful candidate will also support the Drama department with administrative tasks, lesson preparation, and enrichment activities.
This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a flexible, proactive, team-focused approach, helping to ensure an outstanding experience for all theatre users, audiences, and participants.

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Chef to join the Catering Team at Woodbridge School, supporting the delivery of high-quality meals for our pupils and staff. This will be to cover a period of maternity from 1 September 2026 to 25 March 2027. This key role involves working in a fast-paced school kitchen environment, contributing to the planning and preparation of nutritious menus, and helping to maintain excellent food standards and safety practices. The successful candidate will bring experience from a catering or kitchen setting, hold relevant qualifications—including Food Safety Level 2—and demonstrate a commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience within our vibrant school community.
You will be required to work a total of 37.5 hours per week with variable shift patterns. An example shift pattern could be 7:00am to 3:00pm or 10:30am to 6:30pm. You will also be required to work 1 weekend in 4 (9:30am to 6:30pm).
Experience of working in a kitchen or catering setting is essential for this role. A relevant catering qualification and a certificate in Food Safety Level 2 is also essential. You will be responsible for running a section of the kitchen and delivering a high-quality food provision to our residents. Reporting to the Head Chef for Woodbridge School.

Zero Hours – Monday to Friday
We require enthusiastic and friendly Casual Minibus Drivers to provide an early morning and late afternoon transport service to our pupils, as well as ensuring that the appropriate checks are carried out on the minibus prior to driving. You will be joining an already established, friendly and supportive team.
This role is offered on a casual zero-hour basis.
Our drivers are welcome to stay after the morning shift for a complimentary breakfast served on site in the Dining Hall, when the Dining Hall is in operation. In addition, any shifts worked over lunch period are entitled to a lunch in the Dining Hall, when in operation.
There may be opportunities for further hours during the school day to cover student trips and/or sports fixtures etc.
Successful applicants will:
- Possess a category D, D1 licence, or PCV/CPC.
- Be able to demonstrate that they are a reliable, safe driver with a clean driving licence, ideally with appropriate driving experience.
- Be prepared to undergo a pre-employment health assessment.
- Be able to interact effectively with children and ensure their safety.
- Ideally have experience of working with young people.
